HIP Investor is seeking a talented individual to develop original content for new media outlets as well as contribute to its online marketing efforts. We are looking for a candidate who is an entrepreneurial thinker and a strong writer. We are also looking for help in website optimization. We are a small, innovative company where each team member plays an integral role in our development.
Roles
- Write exciting and engaging articles for online publication; research recent headlines, corporate competitors, earning reports, industries and more using the HIP methodology. Articles will be posted on our website, offered for cross-publication and shared with our network
- Contribute to HIP’s marketing plan – identify strategic online platforms to market HIP’s original content, events and HIP portfolios. Expected results include: understanding HIP’s target customers, connecting them with HIP’s insights, and spreading awareness of Impact Investing
- Drive HIP’s online networks (Twitter, Facebook, Just Means, Ning); build strategic plan to use these social media networks in the most innovative and effective ways possible
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong internet research background and experience
- Strong conceptual thinker who can weave case studies and metrics into their communications
- Creative and innovative idea generator – who loves to make them happen
- Deep interest in social measurement tools and outcomes – and how they drive readership
- Easy grasp of how sustainability creates compelling portfolios
- Entrepreneurial experience and/or spirit is a major advantage
- Commit a minimum of 10-15 hours a week for a minimum of three months
Compensation: Unpaid, but rich in experience
