Legal and Compliance Analyst

As a financial services firm in a regulated industry, HIP Investor is seeking a talented business or law student, interested in transparency and trust-based platforms, to work with our team in maintaining high legal compliance standards.  We are looking for an individual with the highest moral and ethical standards – and dedicated to trust, transparency and compliance.

Roles

  • Work with our media publishing and outreach team to review physical correspondence, materials distributed at seminars and conferences, and other communications.
  • Through our compliance software Smarsh, maintain appropriate review and archiving standards for social media activity and emails.
  • Lead projects on document retention, ensuring all appropriate records are available as needed, including preparation for possible audits

Required Qualifications

  • Highest moral and ethical standards
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Interest in pursuing legal, business ethics, sustainability or corporate social responsibility as a long term career.
  • Knowledge of business compliance in a regulated industry, and a willingness to learn more
  • Great team player who can also work independently
  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Business, Law, or Corporate Responsibility
  • Commit a minimum of 10-15 hours a week for a minimum of three months
