Fintech For Good: from Investing to Philanthropy

“Our financial resources are one of our most powerful tools for change. However, figuring out how to use those tools to generate positive impact can be time-consuming and confusing. Thankfully, there has been a flood of recent innovations that are making it easier for everyone to create positive impact with their money.

We will discuss the range of options available from traditional investing to philanthropy, and sustainable and impact first investing options that fall in the middle of the spectrum. Specifically, we will hear from Change the World Fund on a new model for charitable donations, from Low Income Investment Fund on their newly launched LIIF Impact Note, and Just Invest on what options exist for your investments in the stock market.

Join the Mindful Money Meetup group and the Presidio Graduate School Impact Investing Club to learn how recent FinTech advances are allowing the masses to usher in a new paradigm of responsible investing and giving. We will discuss the solutions currently available as well as future trends in the space.”

HIP’s Megan Morris & David Shugar are organizing & attending this event.
