CEO pay has grown at astounding rate – 900% over four decades, vastly outpacing growth in the cost of living, the productivity of the economy, and the stock market.
The fourth report in the series, The 100 Most Overpaid CEOs: Are Fund Managers Asleep at the Wheel? highlights the fund managers who continue to approve these pay packages at staggering rates (many funds approve nearly 100% of the pay packages they vote on), and contrasts them with those who take a stance against excessive pay with their votes.
Joining us on the webinar will be author Steven Clifford, sharing how his experience as a board member led him to become a critic of excessive executive compensation. Paul Herman of HIP will present analyses show that companies identified as paying excessive CEO salaries in initial years of our report have since greatly underperformed the S&P 500 index.
Join us as we discuss how professional financial managers vote on the pay of overpaid CEOS.

Institutional investors need a more thorough understanding of investment options, risks, performance measurement, impact evaluation, ROI, due diligence process, divestment and investment strategies, and how to integrate these investments into a portfolio. Through in-depth research with a wide-array of quality thought leaders, we’ve carefully crafted an agenda that’s primed to be the ultimate ESG/SRI/Impact Investing event of the year.”
